Is your waistband, wallet, and mind even prepared for the epic fun you’re about to have next week in the name of eating fine LA foods? Doesn’t matter either way, there’s no shame and no regrets in taking part in one of LA’s most highly anticipated events of the year we all love and adore: dineL.A.’s Restaurant Week. From January 19 – February 1, more than THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY of LA’s best and most favorite restaurants will offer pre-fix lunches from $15 – $25 and dinners from $30 – $50. dineL.A. provides the perfect time and place in ones life to finally try those “bougie” restaurants you don’t trust your spending powers with, those spots across town you’ve always wanted to try but never had a good enough excuse to make the drive, and the wonderful opportunity to sample the best and most quintessential dishes each participating restaurant has to offer. Clearly with over 350 choices it’s damn near impossible to narrow down decisions, and I can’t have you get over-whelemed and give up all together. So because I do a lot of dineL.A.-ing, I’m going to let you in on my top 10 restaurants/meal picks for this Restaurant Week go-around.
In no specific order…. because they’re all winners…
1. Blue Plate Oysterette
$25 Lunch, $50 Dinner | Damn Good Seafood
I can’t seem to stay away from BP Oysterette lately. With the lobster roll being on both the lunch and the dinner menu… you can’t go wrong either way. Screw it do both! It’s Restaurant Week!

2. Craft
$25 Lunch, $50 Dinner | So You Can Finally Say You’ve Eaten Here.
It’s widely accepted amongst dineL.A.-ers like myself that if you’re going to do a splurge meal, Craft should be at the top of your list. Get dressed up, go be fancy, and enjoy a 5 star meal within your (kinda sorta) budget.

3. Mud Hen Tavern
$25 Lunch, $30 Dinner | Calories? What calories?
If there were a place out of all 350 dineL.A. restaurants to indulge and live a little, Mud Hen Tavern would be the place to do that at. Chicken/bacon and waffle croquettes?! Warm apple pie?! Yes.
