Competitive ice cream eater. Professional facial expressionist. “Inventor” of taco emoji. Life long artiste.
Lipstick Junkie. Unofficial Queen of Los Angeles. Oh the list goes on.
The story goes: I (Caroline) was born on Christmas Eve 30 years ago down “south” in Austin, Texas where I lived for one whole year. So many memories. Post Austin I grew up for the better part of my life in the SF Bay Area, Danville to be specific, where my hobbies included riding horses, painting, pretending to be Gwen Stefani (still guilty), and being generally overdramatic.
From 2007 to 2011 I attended Chapman University in Orange County where I got my Bachelors degree in Art – which, yes, was indeed what I like to call “a total freakin’ blasty blast”. So as you can imagine, it was incredibly depressing when all the fun, painting, and my general attitude of “giving zero f*cks” had to come to an end. That’s when a major reality check came in to view and thus coerced me to ponder that if I 1). wanted to continue the party and enjoyment of being a twenty-something and 2). if I actually wanted to do this whole “creative/artsy” thing, I should probably move to LA. But the decision was more than I know I should, I actually genuinely wanted to move to LA. Despite all initial doubts, I see now that I fall more in love with this city every single day.
So here I am seven years later, eating and drinking my way through the city’s best restaurants/bars, attending events only Los Angeles would host, and experiencing as much as I possibly can within 503 sq miles – all the while properly dressed in my city best from head to toe of course.
