Where to Dine in LA for Valentine’s Day 2023

Valentine’s day is right around the corner, and it’s officially time to break out the red roses and make some reservations! Whether you’re celebrating with your significant other or an awesome group of Gal Pals, Los Angeles is home to some of the most romantic and vibey restaurants. Many of these local hotspots also create decadent tasting menus and amore-themed specials that are well worth indulging in. That said, here is my list of the best restaurants to spend Valentine’s Day in 2023! <3

Saltie Girl

Tinned fish fanatics…get ready to fall in love. Not only is Saltie Girl a total vibe, but the food is incredible. If you’re looking to have the ultimate Galentine’s Day with your girls over some impeccable seafood, Saltie Girl is the place for you.

Grandmaster Recorders

GMR is doing a special $95 “Grandmasters Lovers” tasting menu that features four courses of mouthwatering Italian fare. Just be sure to order the tiramisu a la carte for dessert!

The Girl & the Goat

Honestly, you should use any excuse you can to eat at The Girl & the Goat. From Valentine’s Day to birthdays to Easter, just do yourself a favor and make a reservation ASAP.

Inn of the Seventh Ray

Perhaps the most magical restaurant in Los Angeles, Inn of the Seventh Ray curates an idyllic setting with crystal chandeliers and hanging twinkle lights. Seriously, this restaurant looks straight out of a fairytale!

Geoffrey’s Malibu

Valentine’s Day at Geoffrey’s means picturesque views and high-end steak and seafood. If brunch is more your style, enjoy the $98 V-Day brunch or hit up Geoffrey’s for a romantic three-course dinner that is $135 per person.

Gucci Osteria

Looking to get extra bougie this Valentine’s Day? Indulge in a $320 tasting menu that features everything from spiny lobster carpaccio to herb-crusted filet.

Angler LA

Set to reopen with a refreshed look on February first, Angler LA is the perfect place for a seafood-filled V-Day dinner in the heart of Beverly Boulevard.

Elephante

Elephante is the ultimate Westside spot for delicious Mediterranean cuisine and ocean views. Sip on some speciality cocktails and enjoy a sunset dinner (and also a very likely celeb sighting).

Sparrow

Sparrow is Hotel Figueroa’s premier restaurant that serves Coastal Italian cuisine. All of the plates such as the pizzas and pastas are shareable, and you can also take your romantic evening to the next level by booking a room and making it a romantic staycation.

Angelini Osteria

This classic LA staple is offering a three-course Italian feast for $125 per person on Valentine’s Day. You can also add on a (highly recommended) wine pairing for an additional $65.

Fiish

Sushi and Valentine’s Day truly are a match-made-in-Heaven! Hit up my new favorite sushi spot in the city for some incredible dry-aged sashimi and sake (don’t skip on the tuna crispy rice).

Ysabel

Ysabel has some of the best cocktails and appetizers in West Hollywood. Reserve a table on their enchanting patio and enjoy a Lilly the Pink cocktail and some crispy sesame shrimp.

Good, Clean, Fun

Do some stellar people-watching from the fun and funky patio at this DTLA all-natural wine bar. Good, Clean, Fun’s ever-changing food menu always features some out-of-this-world pasta, so be sure to order at least one and ask for a recommended wine pairing.

Pasjoli

If you’re looking for a super romantic spot that is complete with classic French fare and amazing wine, Pasjoli should be at the top of your V-Day dinner list. Splurge on the caviar service and definitely end the night with the delicate chocolate souffle.
