With the holidays nearing, this time of year always seems to be time to reflect on what we’re grateful for. If you’re reading this post there’s a good chance you have a roof over your head, shoes on your feet, and food to put on your table, but for most American’s – like 48.1 MILLION Americans – meals unfortunately do not come as often and as easy. This November Lyfe Tea, a tea company invested in aiding good health, has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank to stop hunger this holiday season. The goal is to feed 40,000 people this month, and for every purchase of a tea product Lyfe Tea will donate $1 to help Second Harvest Food Bank achieve their goal.
I am thankful to call Los Angeles my home. I am thankful for my family – furry and not. I am thankful for all of the kindness, love, and support I see and receive daily. I am thankful for pizza and ice cream – pepperoni and mint chocolate chip if we’re talking specifics. With all of that said though, I am simply thankful for life.
