I’ve been looking for something like what Panel Wallet makes, for what seems like forever. When I don’t feel like carrying around a purse or my unnecessarily large wallet around, I’ve always been desperate for something small enough to fit it my pocket or in my clutch all the while successfully holding my shit together in one convenient place. Coin purses are too big and bulky (plus they’re coin purses…), going without any clasp-age is risky, so this is where Panel Wallets enters the picture and saves the day – they were created to solve all of these problems and then some. Founder and creator Ben Lang wanted to create an ultra sleek yet attractive and functional wallet for guys and girls alike and I must declare: mission accomplished.

The idea of Panel was conceived based on the needs of a single person, but a quick search proved that it solved many problems that other wallets don’t.
Learning that we weren’t the only ones searching for a better solution led us to create a product that we’re confident you’ll enjoy, just as much as we’ve enjoyed the process of developing it.
Ben’s story is worth mentioning because it’s pretty badass and adds a little appeal to the whole Panel operation – first of all he’s a former Army Ranger who somehow managed to top that by getting accepted to Parsons School of Design in NY where the idea of Panel started. Like, what?! Today he is working his butt off trying to bring Panel Wallets to the rest of the world; he recently launched a Kickstarter campaign and they’ve already passed their original goal, in an incredibly short period of time. We all want those wallets, bad apparently, which is great because the more we support the sooner we’ll be seeing them in stores and boutiques around town. Right now the way to get your wallet is through their Kickstarter, depending on what you pledge (anywhere between $25 – $195) you’re guaranteed your wallet: clear/black/copper/brass/silver/gold (prices vary by material).

Fashion – Wallets detract from your silhouette, and decrease the lifespan of your garments.
Security – Silicone bands are great at keeping a firm grasp on your items and deter pick-pocket theft by creating friction in your pocket.
Health – Sitting on your wallet can cause back pain and lead to sciatica which may cause long-term health issues.
