Spring time is almost upon us here in sunny Los Angeles, not that it isn’t hanging around 300 out of 365 days a year, letsbehonest, but since the rest of the world is beginning to catch up we’re seeing tons and tons of gorgeous, playful, flirty, fun and full midi skirts everywhere this season. The midi skirt is my current anchor piece obsession, I love that they’re being created in fun colors like hot pink and bright green and also come in playful textures like tulle, silk pleats, and “scuba”. The best part about these skirts? They’re versatile. You can dress them up with a fun pair of pumps and a crop sweater/blouse, or you can dress them down with a t shirt/muscle tank with a pair of slip ons/ankle boots. Point is we all need a staple midi skirt in our closet, one we won’t have to save for an event or pictures on Easter.
