If there’s one trend certainly brightening up any typical grey winter hues, it’s the abundance of striped rainbow sweaters. I’m seeing them EVERYWHERE right now – from Instagram to stores, right on the streets of Los Angeles. I’m not typically one for bright colors – maybe in moderation – but I am loving this fun “youthful” look.
My favorite way to wear the trend is with a pair of trusty high waisted jeans or a classic pair of trousers. Because the rainbow stripes are a whole lotta look, I like to keep the rest pretty simple. Granted, white heeled boots aren’t all that tame, but heels are a great addition if you do decide to dress the sweater up. Otherwise, sneakers and stripes is my golden ticket.
Fun fact: I’m currently in LONDONTOWN!!! I just arrived yesterday, and of course I packed as many “jumpers” – as the Brits would say – as I could manage. I’m here on a little girls trip with my aunt, grandma, and cousin (who will be staying and studying abroad in Europe) and to celebrate my grandma’s 75th birthday, which happens to be today! So we are heading out for Afternoon Tea and a slightly freezing walk around town.
