It’s still Spring and as I’ve been saying aaaalllll along, white is in this season and leather never goes out of style. Dresses like this, structured, simple, and clean, are the perfect one-stop-shop outfits and the perfect canvas to work with as far as the rest of your outfit goes. I’ve worn this dress to events/dinners, but as you can see here I’ve also worn it out just for a casual afternoon on the town. Since it has only been a chilly 70 degrees here lately, I’ve been getting a lot of wear out of this awesome Members Only vegan leather jacket – big moto belts are making quite the comeback and I can’t say I’m mad about it! Every girl needs a good badass classic leather jacket to offset her skirts and high heels and this isn’t a bad silhouette to start with.
This week’s wall of choice is one I’ve been wanting to feature for quite some time, and after finally being in the right place at the right time on the right Sunday afternoon I was finally able to make it happen. Might I note however that although it may appear it was my intention to dress in camouflage with said mural, it was actually in fact a complete coincidence. This particular work of gorgeous art located in the heart of the Arts District DTLA (3rd and Traction) was created by one of my personal favorite artists/street artists, Tristan Eaton. Tristan was born and raised in LA has a number of murals around our fair city, as well as many other great works in several other cities across the globe. Be on the lookout for his gorgeous girls, his classic “pops of color”, as we say in the fashion world, and his “Eaton-esque” signature color palate.
