If there’s one thing in my closet right now that brings me an insane amount of joy, it’s this little yellow faux leather jacket. For someone not to prone to outfit repeating I swear I wear this thing E V E R Ywhere, all of the time. It’s probably my favorite item I’ve purchased this Spring, it’s been the perfect jacket to throw on in this semi strange weather we’ve been having in LA, but it’s light enough so that when the sun eventually does decide to grace us with its presence I can keep it on without getting too warm. Besides functionality though it’s officially the most complimented and commented on article of clothing I think I own, and who doesn’t love compliments? That’s the great thing about statement pieces like this, they’re always conversation starters and always make you feel good about your fashion choices – which lets be honest can be questionable at times when you’re trying to be daring. Bright yellow has definitely been a color I’ve gravitated towards in recent months, I’ve left my Winter plum and hunter green hues and have traded them for blue skies, citrus, and sunshine. My go-to outfit lately has been a comfortable pair of high wasted jeans and a statement jacket like the yellow cropped number featured. True story: I love this jacket so much though that I bought it in blue too. And the best part is, it’s only $70! Which is crazy to me seeing as how the jacket feels and looks so real. Doesn’t get much better than that if ya ask me!
