True story: before this week I’d never been to Palm Springs. I know. I can’t believe it either. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from fellow Palm Spring goers it’s that not only is it wise to dress comfortably for the extreme heat, it’s almost mandatory to bust out your wildest color/patterned clothes because why the hell not, you’re goin’ on vacation dammit. Admittedly the craziest I got in terms of color was probably with my swimsuit but despite my usual feelings towards patterned articles of clothing (which is not great) it sounded like the right time and the right place to put a little paisley and geometric shapes in my life.

Korakia is one of those places where just about every corner is picture worthy, you can only imagine what a blast it was to shoot around this incredible little bed + breakfast. If you’re considering Palm Springs for a little R&R and in need of a spot close to town with a boutique-y feel, check out Korakia. Between the two pools, breakfast every morning, old movies at night, adorable cozy rooms, and beautiful little things all over the place, this place is to die for. I cannot WAIT to go back!

Note | Ways of Change is a brand I’ve recently become familiar with and not only is their metal work jewelry gorgeous and insanely stylish, the collection is entirely handmade by refugee artisans living in camps and villages on the Thailand Burma border and a portion of the profits from the collection sales will go back into community development projects as well as funding entrepreneurial trainings. Fashion for a cause is the best kind of fashion and not only do I love the message and what they’re trying to accomplish, I absolutely love the collection. These bangles are HEAVY, so you can without a doubt feel the weight of their worth.
