If I had to pick a favorite article of clothing, it’d be a dead tie between culottes and a good leather jacket. I don’t know what it is about these flare-y French trousers and moto leather jackets but I insist on buying almost every single one of these items I come across. I’ve been in the market for a pair of white culottes for a while now but it’s a bit of a process trying to find the perfect pair that not only fit right but, um, hide your underwear. I found this particular pair featured at Super Saturday last weekend at the French Connection booth and could not be more proud of this essential purchase – they’re perfect for these warmer months, they’re comfortable, and they’re white!
I made an even bigger score last weekend at Super Saturday where I also got this incredible Rachel Zoe black and white color block leather jacket. It was one of those items I refused to leave without, even if it meant no fun or groceries for the next month. I’d never seen anything quite like it and it felt as though it was almost as if Rachel had made it just for me, and maybe Gwen Stefani, but my name was practically stamped on the price tag so I gave it and splurged a little.
Nothing says chic like a black and white ensemble and the great thing about leather and culottes is they never go out of style and you can wear them just about all year round. Well, at least I do. If you don’t have a pair of culottes in your closet yet, get with the program girl and get to it!

Side Note | Almost everything I’m wearing I got this past weekend at Super Saturday, as mentioned, and everything I got at more than 1/2 off. Those $400 shoes for example, were $10 at Super Saturday. Just sayin’, put it on your radar this time next year! Best deals EVER! Not to mention all proceeds to go the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, and nothing is more fun than shopping for charity, this I assure you.
