Only In LA Events To Put On Your Radar

April 11 – 13

Held over four days in the heart of Hollywood, the TCM Classic Film Festival is a place where movie lovers from around the world can gather to experience classic movies as they were meant to be experienced: on the big screen, in some of the world’s most iconic venues, with the people who made them. Moreover, the TCM Classic Film Festival strives to be a place where a community of movie fans of all ages can share their love of classic movies with each other, make new friends and see films as they are seldom seen today.

Seriously. How cool is this? It’s events like these that remind me how fun it is to be at the epicenter of the film world. If you’re in the mood to get your nostalgia on at some of our most favorite and most famous theaters check out the listing of oldies they’ll be showing here – we’re talking Blazing Saddles, Father of the Bride (the old one… not 90’s old, like 50’s old), The Great Gatsby (no Leo), THE WIZZARD OF OZ, Cat on A Hot Tin Roof, and so many more. Awww yeeeaahh it’s back so start saving! Tons and tons of local vendors come back together to sell their locally made goods in one Unique space in Downtown LA. Everything from food, bags, scarves, plants, ceramics, clothes, letterpress items, to my personal weakness… jewelry… will be available for gander and purchase. It’s a wine tasting event! In LA! Count us in, but for the rest of you curious folk here’s how Wine Riot works:

I’m beyond excited to FINALLY make it to one of these events! It’s as simple as buy tickets ahead of time here (they’re a bit cheaper AND you have the option to buy the “fashionably late” ones which will get you a nice view), show up to the outdoor space, heck bring your dog if you want to, get some food and drink from the food trucks there that night, sit back relax and enjoy the show.
