There are two things I know to be true: retail therapy can in fact improve your mood, and shopping locally can improve it even more. Shop for goodies and feel extra justified doing it? Yes please! It is no secret that some of the best small business and local boutiques in the world call Los Angeles home – remember my list of the 71 Best Boutiques In LA? While it is so hard not to be able to visit our favorite retailers IRL at the moment, several, if not most, of these boutiques have built virtual extensions of their shops online. With some even offering discounts, charitable aspects, local delivery options, curated bundles, and truly wonderful and creative ways to stay connected to their customers.
So, whether you’re doing some online shopping to pass the time, *DO SOME HOLIDAY GIFTING*, create a care package for someone (don’t forget this: “How To Make The Best LA Care Packages – And Support Local Businesses Doing It“), freshen up your home space a little, or to simply TREAT YO SELF, here is a comprehensive guide to LA’s best stores/boutiques/shops/shoptiques offering online stores:
SHOP LOS ANGELES BOUTIQUES ONLINE
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
A great collection of handcrafted jewelry, much of which is sourced from local LA artists. This is one of my favorite physical jewelry stores in LA, I appreciate their variety in pricing. (Offering free ground shipping right now within the US)
Contemporary, stylish, and a trendy collection of men’s and women’s clothes and and home goods. They’ve always had a pretty great online shop, and they’re offering free shipping and returns on all US orders.
An Inglewood based online boutique with a great collection of trendy, fun, and affordable sunnies!
One of LA’s most beloved boutiques keeping up with the changing of times since 1961 – and continuing to crush it. Fred Segal is known for contemporary men’s and women’s fashion (they have the best clothing brands), but they dabble in a number of other retail areas (accessories, kids, home goods, beauty products, art, etc). Right now they are offering a virtual concierge, as well curbside pickup options on orders!
Helloooo, cozies. Founded by Emily Current & Meritt Ellliott, this LA-based brand not only offers ultra-chic, quality casual wear, but has the cutest, softest lounge sets ever, which we all know we need for the foreseeable future. While the West Hollywood store appears to still be fully closed for the time being, you can still enjoy shopping online, including their adorable tie-dye ready sets, for all of those getting into a DIY quarantine.
A higher-end / small label women’s boutique off Abbot Kinney currently offering free domestic shipping.
A design studio that specializes in custom embroidery and offers a selection of casual men’s and women’s apparel (shirts, bandanas, sweatshirts, hats, patches, masks, etc). They’re currently offering 20% and free shipping on orders.

Designer women’s fashion with boho-chic & vintage styles. A true LA favorite with a great online store as it is!
Contemporary/trendy womens clothing and accessories boutique featuring tons of LA’s favorite brands like dRA, 27 Miles Malibu, Raga, Ripley Rader, ASTR, and so many more.
Another high-end women’s boutique specializing in smaller label clothing brands and local luxury. They’ve got everything from clothes, accessories, shoes, to swim, and all of it is available online.
A beloved sustainable “made in LA” fashion brand with a Venice storefront and awesome online shop. (This is one of my personal favorite brands – such great pieces with fun colors, textiles, and contemporary/feminine designs.) Right now they’re offering a 20% discount sitewide, and 5% of sales will go to Feeding America.
HOME GOODS & FURNITURE
You know the now-iconic market bags. You probably have one! They have a “print shop” on East 3rd, but their online presence offers all of their product as well – including customizable options!
Vintage and new furniture, art, and home goods with colorful and bold designs. They’re offering curbside and free local delivery options at the moment for Angelenos.
Handmade ceramics sourced from the Bay Area with an LA outpost, and of course a stellar online shop. Their ceramic pieces are so chic (they make everything you can think of) plus their online store offers other goods such as home decor pieces, furniture, bags, accessories, and even tile.
My absolute, all time, favorite furniture store in LA. Period. Their collection leans bohemian/chic/contemporary and their prices are arguably the most fair out there, and you can view their current pieces on their Instagram, or visit their website to shop the store/floor online! Right now they’re offering 40% off the online store (YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT) and free shipping. Happy home shopping.
A store run by Los Angeles-based designers, makers, and curators of vintage and locally made furniture, lighting, and accessories? Yes please. You can shop their goods online, or shop via DM (they’re doing showroom tours each week on their Instagram, so you can get a look at their inventory and consult with an interior design professional).
Al architecturally minded boutique known for their beautiful curation of unique items, housewares, and even jewelry. Their webshop is available 24/7, but they’re available for curbside pickup 6 days a week and are currently offering phone and video appointments as well.
A beautifully curated boutique that specializes in textiles, women’s clothing, baskets, kitchenware, apothecary goods, and paper goods. Right now they are offering $5 shipping or free curbside pickup at their Highland Park store.
Offering a slew of badass vintage furniture, Revival Vintage Furniture operates as a cash-only business Thursday – Sunday. Selling amazing mid-century and beyond pieces at to-die-for prices, but with no prepays, holds, or phone orders, this truly feels like a vintage scavenger hunt score. Goods and their prices are posted on Instagram a few days before they open, so you know what to show up for Thursday to make a curbside buy before the piece you’re lusting after sells out!
“Purveyors of beach culture in California” specializing in vintage surfboards and mid-century modern furniture/decor. This adored LA shop (open for 20+ years!) also offers other goods such as textiles, apparel, tabletop items, garden pieces, and more. A number of the pieces from their incredible collection/shop are available online.
Known for their authentic vintage furniture (particularly their mid-century modern pieces) they also offer new and handmade pieces as well. Everything you need for the house is pretty much right here – and they’re offering free curbside delivery on purchases of $200+ within a 25 mile radius of 90042!
PLANTS & FLORALS
Unique and slightly higher-end home and garden shop with an incredible collection and variety of goods. Their online shop is small but of course, beautifully curated and consisting mainly of garden kits and potted plants. (They’ll be updating the shop from time to time so be sure to check back for more.)
The physical Twig & Twine shop is a boho-chic boutique that offers modern floral arrangements, plants, gifts, and housewares. For now, however, Twig & Twine’s online shop offers options for delivered vase arrangements and delivered paper arrangements.
Simply as advertised: Cactus Store offers cactus – even for delivery! Besides cacti, they even offer tools, pots, and even clothing.
The cutest and largest (local) online collection of plants and everything that goes with them. They’re offering pickup and local delivery options (in addition to shipping for everything but the plants)!
Offering delivery, curbside pickup, as well as shopping by appointment (max. 2 people) at their Highland Park storefront, The Juicy Leaf has whatever your shopping preference may be covered. With unique arrangements, AND now offering online succulent arrangement workshops so you can gain a new quarantine skill, The Juicy Leaf may make us all botanists yet. (Okay, maybe just some of us.)
VINTAGE CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Vintage clothing and accessories spanning the decades – that you can even shop online. It’s impressive. Arguably one of LA’s most iconic vintage shops, prepare to emerge from quarantine in amazing style – or, now. Who am I to limit your shelter in place style?!
My absolute favorite vintage high-end designer boutique in LA. They have the most insane collection of particularly Chanel goods, but they carry items from a variety of iconic designers. You can usually find them inside of Reformation on Melrose, but their online Etsy store is always open.
GIFTS, BOOKS, ALL-THE-THINGS
A “Coastal California” curation of goods that include jewelry, clothes, home goods, accessories. and vintage goods. Their beautifully edited selection is full of winners for those of us seeking to make our homes a happy one while sheltering in place!

Whether you’re participating in a birthday or graduation drive-by parade or trying to make a quaranteammate’s shelter in place birthday feel special, they’ve got everything you need.
Heavenly, fresh garden grown goods including hand washes, hair care products, tinctures, pantry goods, candles, flowers, and of course fresh fruits and vegetables (they do CSA boxes as well)
One of my favorite boutiques in LA simply for its total uniqueness. Gold Bug was described to me as a “modern cabinet of curiosities” and with items such as taxidermied butterflies, art prints, interesting books, handmade jewelry, and all kinds of strange and wonderful finds the description makes perfect sense. While the physical shop remains closed for the time being, you can peruse their unique selection of goods on their website.
A beloved LA shop that offers a carefully curated mix of clothing, household items, books, jewelry, and other small treasures from local California artisans.
The cutest little shop with an eclectic collection of stylish “one of a kind” goods for men, women, kids, home, etc. From paper goods to decor, clothes, accessories, beauty/apothecary goods, to even adorable care package bundles, they kinda have it all. And it’s all online (free shipping with code STAYCOZY) or available for curbside pickup!
LA’s most beloved book – and record – store. While we patiently wait for the physical space to open back up, their online shop is open and they’ve even gone as far as to offer curated book bundles! Treat yourself or a friend to a new novel, the ultimate form of quarantine escapism if you ask me.
“Fresh florals and fine gifts” – and let me tell you, what an incredible their gift box selections truly are. If you’re looking to send a beautifully curated and locally sourced care package, start here. PLUS – the flower shop is open for deliveries Monday – Saturday.

A fun and bohemian store and graphic design studio offering a variety of goods/clothes sourced from local artists. This is another one of those shops that really seem to have it all. They recently launched their online shop (which was very well done at that, obviously given their background) and are shipping nationwide!
If you didn’t fall madly in love at first sight of their name alone… you’re crazy. And as to be expected with a name like that, it’s the cutest damn boutique you ever did see. But if you’re unable to swing by the little shoppe, fortunately, they’ve got an online shoppe as well with plenty of fun “gifts, curios, and handmade goods” to fit your fancy.
Platform in Culver City (an urban shopping center, or boutique collective) has launched a program called Platform Drive-Through where you can shop from all of the retailers and restaurants at Platform in one place. Independent shops like Yolk, Reformation, Coast by Coast, Aesop, Tom Dixon, and so many other boutiques are available to shop on this page – it’s seriously so freakin’ cool it blows my mind. And you can even order lunch while you’re deciding which cookbook or swimsuit to buy. (All for contactless pickup!)
Have you truly experienced LA retail if you’ve never shopped at Poketo? Books! A simple, loveable, and wholesome local bookstore who is relying on orders right now to stay afloat. Perfect for those of us looking to fill our time in quarantine with a new novel, or share with a friend.
A unique boutique in Atwater Village who’s got just about everything! Men, women, and children’s’ clothing, books, art, beauty products, accessories, toys, gifts and so much more. Love that they have a focus on local producers and small-batch/women-owned brands. Spend $50 on their online store and receive free shipping.
All of your beautiful paper goods and stationery items in one place, along with a small curation of home goods to pair. (Thing wrapping paper, cards, party items, etc.) This has always been a mandatory stop for me on my visits to Abbot Kinney, I am glad we can still at least visit them online. And who doesn’t want to receive pretty snail mail from their loved ones right now?!
Wacko / Soap plant is “your neighborhood family-run gift shop, art gallery, book store, handmade soap-slinger and toy emporium located in beautiful Los Feliz.” They have been “purveyors of pop-culture since 1971” and are a treasured part of Eastside culture. “Noto is a natural, fluid in gender, multi-use cosmetic line that is packed with uncomplicated yet high performing natural and organic ingredients.” Namely a wash, a variety of oils/serums, and “stains”. Spend $75+ on their online store and receive free shipping and emerge from quarantine with some seriously glowy skin.
Osea Malibu has a skincare studio on Abbot Kinney, but fortunately, they sell their obsessed over non-toxic skincare products on their online shop!
Roven is an outpost shop on Abbot Kinney for Grove Collective and offers a one-stop-shop experience for all things “clean beauty”.
Every LA girl’s go-to place for beauty products and inspiration. They have a massive selection of products from a variety of brands – it’ll be hard not to find something that catches your eye.
