IT’S SPRING TIME LADIES! And Lucy… you’ve got some e’shoppin’ to do. The stores are stocked, the “Festival Inspo” emails have been blasted, and the bloggers of the world have spoken. FINALLY the trends for Spring in LA can be yours too, and the best part is: you don’t have to break the bank giving any of them a fair shot. Let’s examine shall we?
1. // BLOCK HEEL SANDALS //
The blockier the better. Add some tassels, some embellished straps, or lace-up/wrap-around accents and you’re pretty much nailing it!

Straw is making a strong comeback this season, floppy hats may never go out of style but it’s the smaller structured styles like “the boater” that are truly having a moment.

Ahhh. The one time that you can wear with just about everything in your closet. The longer style light weight military/utility coats are the perfect finishing touch to wear over denim shorts, a skirt, jeans, dresses – pretty much anything!

4. // EBROIDERED BOMBER //
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, every girl in LA needs a good statement jacket in her life because nothing says “I’m a badass with a fashion sense” like a good embroidered or patched bomber.

5. // BUTTON FRONT SKIRT //
The button front skirt has been one trend that is back from last year and now stronger than ever. The 7o’s inspired trends are still favorites amongst fashionistas and there probably isn’t a girl in LA who doesn’t own at least one button front skirt. With so many different colors, fabrics, and ways to style these bad boys, why not have a few?!

6. // OFF THE SHOULDER FLOUNCE TOP //
This is one uber fem trend that even the more androgynous dressers are getting in on – myself included. Anything crisp, cropped, and off the shoulder will definitely be making its way around festivals and on the streets of LA this season!
