In a world full of desaturation and grey tones, sometimes you just need to throw in a bit of color to liven the mood. I myself am very guilty of gravitating towards black/white monochrome looks, but when I find something is missing from the overall look I result in throwing in a “pop of color”. The best “pop”‘s usually come in the form of a bold lipstick, a hot pair of heels, and of course eye catching accessories. Color is a great way to get adventurous with your wardrobe, and it can really tie an outfit together if paired properly! I personally work one of two ways when it comes to “pop’s of color”: I either start with my “pop” and work my outfit around it, or I start with the basics and find the splash thereafter.
