New York Fashion Week

Home / FASHION / New York Fashion Week

I am one unbelievably fortunate woman to have had the privilege to be a part of New York Fashion Week this year – I’ve been dreaming of sitting in the crowd by a runway, feeling the energy of and excitement that comes with getting a first look at a designers new collection since I was a girl strutting a hallway in my sparkly “clicky” heels. I may not be completely up on everything going on in the fashion world, I am not trying to be something I’m not here,  but one thing is for sure I am simply a fan, supporter, and appreciator of everything these designers and fashion fanatics alike do. The New York Fashion week events and shows have all been a huge inspiration being that I am a creative myself, I can only hope I get to do it again someday because there’s nothing more exhilarating than stepping out of a cab, nervous as all fuck, and start walking towards the infamous Mercedes Benz Fashion Week tent to be swarmed by photographers who want to snap you and your outfit. Sweet sweet satisfaction and relief to find I think I did it right for a Fashion Week rookie. Phew! Cheers to the most proper #fashionfriday post in Love & Loathing LA history.

“Every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future… this is known as Fashion Week.” – Carrie Bradshaw Sex and the City
