It’s no new news at this point that bars and dining rooms in restaurants are closed for the next few weeks, but thankfully at this point restaurants are still able to offer meal pickup and delivery options. PRAISE FREAKIN BE. Because if there’s one *super simple* way all of us Angelenos can support our local small businesses and community as a whole, it’s to order takeout from your favorite joint(s). Not to mention it’s obviously a win-win – forget the freezer and pots & pans for a night, amiright? Live a little!

 

LA RESTAURANTS WITH NEW OR SPECIAL DELIVERY OPTIONS

 

Many restaurants that were already available on delivery apps like Doordash, Postmates, Uber Eats, Caviar, and Grubhub are still offering their regular menu. I would list them out but, guys, just open your go-to app. The purpose of THIS post is to fill you in on restaurants who are either now offering delivery services (who previously did not), or restaurants that are offering something special to customers during these strange times. i.e. family meal packages, pantry items, frozen items, new dishes, grocery goods, cocktails, etc!

 

We’re all in this together Angelenos. Sending a huge heartfelt thank you to every single restaurant doing what they can to take care of us, as well as themselves.

 

*PLEASE double check on updates, things are changing constantly. And at the very least remember that besides ordering food, the best way to support these teams of restaurants is to buy the product from their shops if they offer that, and PURCHASE GIFT CARDS for the future! But if you are ordering takeout, if you can, try to opt for ordering with them directly for pickup/curbside. This is to ensure that all the funds go directly to the restaurant. Seems fair!
