My goodness, I can’t believe I’ve found it. I’ve found for once what I consider to be the perfect dress for any holiday occasion this year. And it’s one I actually want to wear again and again and again. The only time I’d truthfully rock a full red ensemble would likely be during this time of year and so this year I shall. I’ve been wearing this dress to holiday parties, I’ll be wearing it to my birthday dinner (Christmas Eve woo woo!), and there’s a pretty good chance I’ll ring in the new year wearing it too! It’s a fine line between deciding to buy an expensive holiday dress, one that makes you feel your absolute best, and going with something affordable because it’s likely sequins and bold reds won’t be as appealing come March. It’s a slight predicament I find myself in every year, but this year I chose quality – and judging by that smile on my face and how good I feel in this dress, I’m happy to report it was a worthwhile choice. I love dressing up in December, there’s nothing quite like the outfits you’ll find yourself in should you also be heading out around town to celebrate what ever it may be – parties, Christmas, New Years Eve, life. For me it’s my way of finding the perfect way to let my festive flag fly without being overtly obvious and cheesy. Hence, the solid red dress. It does the trick.
Happy Holidays my incredible friends! May you find YOUR little red dress to make your season bright! Or at least a piece of cake or a delicious glass of wine. Whatever it takes.
