Suns out, guns out – It’s almost officially summer in Los Angeles and I’m embracing this somewhat overcast yet 80 degree weather to it’s fullest. And what better way to fully embrace the new season than with a frilly tank, a printed maxi skirt, a trim, and a trip to the beach, amiright. Despite my hesitation and lack of enthusiasm towards loud prints and patterns, LA based girl-power brand Show Me Your Mumu has pulled me out of my black and white world and is slowly but surely guiding me towards embracing my more feminine and colorful side. In lieu of warmer months ahead and a desperate need for some sort of update on my look I decided to take it one step further than bringing color into my wardrobe this season by cutting a good 8 inches of my hair off. And dammit do I feel great. Sometimes it takes a new season to inspire a new look and I’m happy I made the leap, as I have evidently expressed with beach frolicking.
