So long as your plans for ringing in the New Year involve staying up past midnight and enjoying a cocktail (or several) then I must say you’re already headed on the right track. Whether you choose to stay up late and enjoy said cocktail out at a party, in a restaurant, or in your pjs inside the comforts of your own home, that my friend is your prerogative. But if you happen to be feelin a little adventurous, feelin like your pockets are a little deeper after Christmas, and you’ve already laid out your NYE party pants, I have great news for you. If you’re in LA, you’re in the right place, because Los Angeles is one excellent town to be in for a celebration if I do say so myself. No surprise here but there’s quite a number of events going on around town this Wednesday night, but I’ve dug, I’ve surveyed, I’ve compared, contrasted, and finally deduced that these 5 events are some places you might want to seriously consider being a part of this year. 1. 6-Course Dinner at Butchers & Barbers + Entry Into Dirty Laundry Party | Hollywood
I present to you, the best deal, the best idea, and the best 2-fer-1 activity you could possibly get in on this New Years Eve: Dinner & much much more at Butchers & Barbers. For $95 per person, guests will be offered a beautiful 6-course meal PLUS free entry into the Dirty Laundry party around the corner PLUS a drink ticket to get the celebration started. 2. The Church Key All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum Dinner | West Hollywood
For those of you in search of a fun and filling special NYE dinner, look no further than West Hollywood’s very own Church Key. For just $85 per person, guests can fill up on one seriously yummy looking menu, all the while relaxing and enjoying the evening inside one of my personal favorite WeHo locales. (more info HERE)
3. ‘Perch LA NYE 2015’ Dinner and/or Rooftop Party | DTLA
Perch is offering many a NYE celebration options this year and it would appear you cannot go wrong with anything they’ve got to offer. Your first option includes access to the 16th Floor Rooftop Bar Party where for $125 per person guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a premium open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, DJ/Entertainment, and the best view/backdrop to celebrate. Your second option includes access to the 15th Floor where guests may indulge in a 4-course dinner, an open bar, and live entertainment, all for the price of $175 per person. 4. The Bungalow’s NYE Party | Santa Monica
There may be no better way to ring in the New Year in LA than by the beach, under some palm trees, with a ping pong paddle in hand at Santa Monica’s golden child: The Bungalow. The attire is Black Tie and if you’re feelin’ fancy, The Bungalow’s NYE pary is the perfect excuse to get dolled up. 5. $40 Pre Fix Dinner at the Hart & the Hunter + Entry Into Palihouse Countdown & After-Party | West Hollywood
You have yet another perfectly acceptable 2-fer-1 option this NYE thanks to the good people of the “Pali Society”. For $40 per person you could be treated to a delicious 4-course meal (plus a glass of bubbly) prepared at the Hart & the Hunter, and then of course after dinner you will be given access to the countdown / after-party held at the gorgeous Palihouse Hotel. 6. Mrs. Fish NYE 2015 Party | DTLA
What better way to check out the coolest looking, brand spankin’ new subterranean supper club – Mrs Fish – than on NYE? $55 will grant you entrance into the epic dance party, delicious passed appetizers, and plenty of live entertainment acts to follow. Beverages are not included in the price for this particular event, but dancing your ass off and zoning out on massive fish tanks are sure to bring about an excellent and energetic New Years Eve. 7. Let’s Party NYE with Blood Orange, Classix, & more | Park Plaza Hotel
The party of all New Years Eve parties is ready to get a crowd turnt UP this Wednesday, and if an epic party craving is taking you over then this is the Park Plaza Hotel is where you need to be. DJ sets from some of our favs like Blood Orange and Classix will provide the atmosphere on one of three stages that evening while guests may enjoy unlimited amounts of cocktails.
