Introducing Your New Favorite (LA Based) Activewear Shop: Peach Pop

Love & Loathing LA x Peach Pop Fashion Fitwear

I’m a recent pledge to the #teampeach / Peach Pop fan club but it’s safe to say I’ll be in the club for as long as my ass can pick up weights and get to a gym. This may come as no surprise, but here at Love & Loathing Los Angeles, I love fashion and activewear (especially when combined) but more than anything I love supporting local LA brands who make fashionable fit wear affordable, fun, and readily available.

Peach Pop is an online retail brand that was created in Santa Monica for LA girls who want to get their fit on and look damn good doing it; not to mention maintaining a cute “sporty chic” look during those post workout public appearances. For someone like myself who hasn’t exactly gone out of the way to get familiarized with any other fitness-wear brands besides Nike, its unfortunate I hadn’t found Peach Pop sooner, but I sure am delighted I finally did. (more fit fashion ahead >>)

Laura Varney, creator and HBIC at Peach Pop has curated an incredible fitwear collection featuring brands like Onzie, Glyder, Young & Reckless, Purusha People *also an LA brand*, Chaser, and many more. As mentioned, I’m hesitant towards just about everything outside the Nike brand, I always figured when you find something that works, stick to it right? For as long as I can remember, I so blindly assumed that all sports bras besides my Nike ones would probably be too tight and unflattering (you know, when your “chicken wings” hang over… not cute?), and that non-Nike workout pants allowed for too much jiggle or even worse… would be too low rise therefore forcing me to hide a bad case of camel toe. (sorry)

For the sake of upping my gym fashion game and finally attempting to step out of my Nike box, I decided to give a few of the Peach Pop brands a chance to broaden my horizons – long story short, there’s much more variety in my gym bag these days. Those black Glyder pants are higher waisted and show absolutely zero signs of jiggle, the Teeki deer skull tights are super high waisted (aka unbelievably comfortable) and act like a second skin, plus all those bras/tops – no chicken wings in sight.

Check out our selects below that are available at peachpopfashion.com – head over to the site to take a look at their collection of strappy cool bras (that you’ll even want to wear outside of the gym) and of course their fantastically crazy printed selection of bottoms. Heck, join me and the rest of #teampeach and get a whole new chic fitwear wardrobe you can actually afford!

Stay tuned today because right after this I’m showing ya “How to Burn the Burger” for October!
