Well I’ll tell you what, nothing says “my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard” quite like a good ol’ fashioned fuzzy or fluffy sweater. They are EVERYWHERE this season, and I ain’t mad about it. “So… you’re telling me… comfy, soft, oversized and fuzzy… is now, chic?” Well I’ll be damned, sign. me. up. And you know who seems to a driving force and part mastermind behind this trend? Topshop. So Topshop and fashion houses alike… thank you… from all of us skinny jean, Spanx wearin’ ladies out there for this paradoxically comfort meets chic gift you’ve bestowed upon us from the Fashion Gods.

What is it about sweaters… fuzzy, sweaters… that make you want to purchase them in ridiculous colors? “Oh baby blue! I LOVE baby blue!”. But in the special case of fluffy sweaters, wearing baby blue makes perfect fucking sense?
ohhhh I love this one. I have a thing for blush pink, that I am now self conscious of thanks to my aunt who mentioned too much blush pink and too much pale skin made me look like a band-aid. Good point I suppose, so I’d pair this with a bad ass black leather pencil skirt, tall black ankle boots, and BOOM, band-aid no more. Now you’re a tube of lipstick. A beautiful tube of blush pink lipstick.
See they don’t alllll, come in crazy colors. Heather grey is lovely and neutral. Perfect for your loud printed pants, pencil skirt, or bright-colored shoe.
Topshop is cray-cray over fluffy sweaters, I mean look, it’s a whole freakin’ row to choose from! YAY!
And these are just a few of my fuzzy sweater concoctions, very recently purchased at Topshop for Nordstrom. Never in a billion years did I ever think I’d wear periwinkle again after turning 8, but here I am. And mint green? Obvious decision.
