It’s officially that time of year again, COACHELLA IS UPON US whether we like it or not! It feels like just yesterday I was right back here in Indio worrying about what to wear, fighting the elements, eating Spicy Pie for every meal, but having the time of my life. Coachella is one of my FAVORITE excuses to go shopping and pull outfits together, and this year has been no exception.
This festival season I am hoping to see less flower crowns, fringe, and aggressively short shorts and more structured pieces, embroidered denim, and interesting pops of color. When it comes to my OWN festival style this year, I’ve been really drawn to anything striped, structured straw hats, off the shoulder tops/dresses, and as mentioned – embroidered denim. I just got my vintage Levi’s jacket custom embroidered at one of my FAVORITE LA establishments, Lot Stock & Barrel. and I absolutely love how it turned out! I went in, said I wanted “Love & Loathing Los Angeles” with maybe a palm tree or the city skyline and voila – perfection. It cost me about $150, but it’s easily the best $150 I’ve spent all year.
Be sure to stay tuned on the social medias this weekend as I will be posting live from the festival and all of the daytime parties!!! It’ll be super entertaining I swear!
