It is FINALLY an acceptable temperature outside to throw on a sweater or jacket in Los Angeles! It feels as though we’ve been waiting forever for this weather. I’ve forced many Fall inspired outfits on some very hot days but this week… things are changing. It’s not exactly time to throw on thick sweaters or long sleeves but it IS time for light weight sweaters and boots.
This week has been out of control busy for me; it’s just been one of those weeks where it feels like I’ve been going a million miles an hour but at the same time I feel like I didn’t really accomplish anything. Have you ever had weeks/days like that? I barely had any time to post, workout, catch up on TV shows, but I’m not exactly sure where I spent all my time! (Probably watching the Dodgers, if I’m going to be honest with myself…)
This was an easy breezy outfit I threw on to have lunch at FIG in Santa Monica this week, and I just absolutely loved the functionality/style/comfortability from head to toe. I may or may not have outfit repeated, don’t tell anyone. The OTK (over the knee) boots are my most recent and favorite purchase because they’re PERFECT. The color, the heel height, the toe, the fabric… I can hardly contain my excitement over these! Dolce Vita has some of the best OTK boots this season so if you’re on the hunt, start there.
Outside of shopping all of the cute Fall things, may your weekend be filled with pumpkin this or that, sweaters, tea, and all of the October festivities! I promise to catch up on posting next week. Unless of course the Dodgers keep winning, in which case allow me to apologize in advance for getting a touch distracted.
