Things I can’t quit this Summer: stripes, and silver accessories. Stripes and I are in for the long haul I think, but silver accessories, let alone accessories in general, and I are kind of in the middle of having a moment? I’ve truthfully never been one for jewelry, weird I know. I’ve always considered my lipstick to be my main accessory, but when you find the right piece you just kinda make it work. I got my Kyboe! watch a few weeks ago when I went out to Miami and it’s been such a fun way for me to incorporate a new accessory in to my look! They make watches in literally almost every color under the sun, but being that my color palate bases usually revolve around the grey scale I went with the white/silver option. This watch is so fun to wear with my favorite silver sneakers from Zara (they’re “old” but I know they still make similar versions of them), I’ve been pairing the two regularly on my daytime outings.
Another thing I can’t seem to quit lately: high waisted trousers. They’re kind of hard to find as I’ve come to discover, but when you find the right pair it’s one of those items you’ll have in your closet forever. I love pairing my high rise trousers with crop tops because it’s a fun way to dress trousers down and make them more casual. But at the same time, you can rock them to work or out to an event should you so choose to get fancy! Today I’m going somewhere down the middle; feelin’ a little rock n’ roll with a dash of femininity.
