The Short: Murad has officially re-opened their flagship store on West 3rd Street (huzzah!) and this time they’re back with the addition of two beautiful new treatment rooms!!
The Story: I personally take my skincare situation very seriously, I don’t love having any legitimate routines outside of sleeping (I like to keep things “interesting”) but outside of the obvious routines (coffee, showers, teeth brushing) I genuinely enjoy taking care of my skin. I have come accustomed to seeking out high quality products because in my opinion, I have a high quality face – as we all do! – so this is one area I am willing to throw in a few extra pennies towards the cause.
If you’ve ever walked into a Sephora or you too take your beauty/skincare regimen somewhat seriously, you’re likely familiar with the brand Murad. When I had acne as a middle schooler/high schooler I used to go get dermatological facials, yes very sad not-relaxing-at-all facials at my dermatologists office, and Murad was their brand of choice. Over the years I’ve truthfully tried several other products since, but when Murad wants to celebrate their new store with you and wants to re-introduce you to some of their new products, you do it! It may have been a few years since we’ve seen each other, but Murad is a brand I still whole heartedly trust. I am two weeks in to going full-steam ahead on a Murad only routine and I have genuinely zero complaints. I’ve actually come to find that they’ve introduced me to products *I now love* that I never thought I needed let alone even existed – namely the Essential-C Day moisturizer, the Rapid Collagen Infusion for Lips, and the Invisiblur Protecting Shield (a 30 SPF makeup primer with other delightful super powers).
The great thing about the new Murad shop though, besides close proximity access to ALL of their products, is that they’ve got two new treatment rooms, as mentioned, where you can get relaxing and revitalizing facials. I went last weekend and got a wonderful 90 minute facial and left feeling so happy, so unbelievably glowy, and very pleased with the products and the entire experience.
