If you follow me along on social media or you’ve stepped in to my closet, you’d know it’s no big secret that I’m weirdly in love with Teva. If you’d told me 10 years ago though that someday I’d be rocking Teva’s in a fashionable manner and not just wearing them so as not to slip in some river in Texas, I would have been really confused. But alas here we are! 2016! Rocking’ Teva’s on hikes, to ball games, and even out to cocktails/dinners. Outside of my love for all of their cute, new, more fashion forward styles, Teva has stayed true to their brand in remaining some of the most comfortable and functional shoes out there. From their new line of close-toed shoes called Arrrowood to their classic sandals and flatforms, these shoes are all so incredibly versatile and yet so affordable it’s impossible not to invest in more than one pair.
Last weekend I wore my new Arrowood’s out on a morning hike around Griffith Park that was then followed directly by breakfast at one of my all time local favs Little Dom’s. But even after a very active morning outdoors I decided to just keep them on all day as I ran around town for meetings, errands, coffee, etc. These Arrowood’s are seriously my outdoor *waterproof* sneaker come true; not only are they actually so cute, they’re also insanely comfortable. I didn’t take them off that whole day because I really did not want to! When Teva explained the Arrowood as “down for whatever” they really meant it.
The next day I had a lot of activities that required me to be a bit more “done up” so I threw on my newest pair of Teva’s, the Flatform Universal Retro‘s (that come in tons of colors!!!), and went from lunch in Culver City, to a good ol’ fashioned ball game at Dodger Stadium, then to have post game cocktails Downtown. It’s been so warm lately and these flatforms have been a go-to choice for days when I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking outside but need to look decent doing it.
Whether you’re heading straight into nature or straight into an urban city, or better yet you plan on doing both in the same day, Teva has all of us guys and gals *fashionably* covered for our day to night adventures.
