Summer is just around the corner and this weekend I’m gearing up for the season transition by throwing on a few of my favorite classic warm weather pieces. There’s something to be said about a clean neutral look on a warm day; it’s a trend that simply never tires or goes out of style. Whether it’s subdued suede, earthy toned accessories, or even a maxi dress with a classic summer straw hat, a head to toe neutral ensemble is the perfect ‘on-trend‘ look for these warm weather weekends. I realize it’s only going to be in the 70’s this weekend in LA, but so long as the sun is shining I think we can make due. Whether you’re taking a drive down the coast, hanging poolside, or even just going to brunch with your baes, this is the perfect weekend to buy/bust out and pair a few of your favorite neutral essentials. Entirely neutral looks have been in fashion since “the dawn of fashion” and it’s a look that can change and evolve with each new trend. Light colored straw hats in particular seem to be having quite the moment this Spring/Summer, but it will be interesting to see which other trends will dominate this upcoming season. No matter which trends you may currently find yourself wanting in on, simple, light, earthy neutrals will somehow always perfectly pair and give you that instantly chic edge. Get out and get your neutral on girl!
