Love and Loathing LA Midi Dresses

I’ve been feelin’ all sorts of Rihanna like “workworkworkwerwerwer”-in’ midi dresses lately: a cut that is currently having quite the moment in the fashion world. I’ve personally been making the investments myself because I’ve found the style to be so versatile – midi dresses seem to be appropriate for just about every kind of setting or any type occasion. The midi dress I’m wearing above I’ve worn to events/dinners and paired with heels, but at the same time I’ve also worn the dress out to a casual lunch with sneakers. It’s appropriate for a variety of settings because it hits at just the right place on your leg where it’s not to matronly and yet not to scandalous. For me, it’s the easiest way for me to combine feeling classy yet, dare I say, “sexy” – which isn’t a look nor a feeling I necessarily “workworkworkwork” very often. An anchor piece that makes a statement, comes in so many different styles, and is the epitome of versatile and understatedly sexy is the perfect item to snag; especially as we head in to Spring and Festival Season.
