Madewell has been one of my favorite go-to brands for denim and basic T’s for years; I can always count on them to be on trend, and right now they’re featuring one my favorite denim trends – the “high rise”. I am personally very partial to high rise / straight leg jeans because I not only find them to be the most flattering, I also find them to be the most comfortable. These jeans have just the right amount of vintage flair coupled with a modern fashionista feel. You can dress them up with a blouse and pair of heels, or you can dress them down with a t-shirt and and some sandals. In other words, you can wear them to just about any occasion! Which we love!

I’ve also been a fan of plaid and flannel since forever, but right now hunter green everything is killing it on the fashion scene so this particular number has been on high rotation as of late. Nothing better than a warm, comfortable, and not to mention *fashionable* “boyfriend” style flannel!

If you’re a fan of Madewell too – which I’d suspect you are – there’s a new Madewell store opening TODAY at the Shops at Mission Viejo and you’re invited to attend their grand opening tonight!!!
