Who said you can’t wear leather during the Summer? I’m giving the green light and two very enthusiastic two thumbs up on the idea, but if there’s a best way to wear leather in the heat it’s definitely in it’s most minimal of forms. As we head into “Fall” you can easily get away with rocking a leather crop top, or a leather vest, or more hot on the heels of fashion Summer trends: leather shorts. I won’t recommend wearing them in direct sun or in the dead of a 85+ degree afternoon, but for those late afternoon/evening activities this is a perfect trick to a chic look for a night out. Leather always deserves to be dressed up a little, so I’ve been wearing these with silk shirts and a good pair of heels – cage/lace up being another one of Summer’s must-have trends.
Step outside the cocktail dress box, channel your inner rockstar, and walk into that party/dinner/event with an outfit no one else thought to throw together!
