When it comes to the latest fashion trends there’s two things I’ll always be a huge fan of: clothing lines who appreciate basics/clean lines/simplicity and of course, any and all hip Australian labels. Kit and Ace is more or less a recent discovery of mine and they actually hail from the great country of Canada, but I’ve found a true appreciation for the fact that they’re a brand that takes quite a bit of pride in quality fabric with quality fit. Truth be told ever since I got this black tank a few weeks ago, I’ve been wearing it almost unreasonably often – I’m probably making all of my other tanks so incredibly jealous with all of this favoritism. This magical velvety soft tank has been my go-to top to wear tucked in with high waisted shorts/skirts or slightly more relaxed with boyfriend jeans and trousers and I’ve learned that it can be just as easily dressed up as it can be dressed down. In my further investigation and exploration of the brand, it’s incredibly evident that Kit + Ace excels in creating quality garments with classic yet modern silhouettes; everything ‘Kit + Ace’ I own feels like something I’ll have and keep in my closet for years. I wasn’t the slightest bit joking that this is my all time favorite tank I own – fellow grey scale girls get to shopping.
When it comes to fun patterns, completely inventive cuts and out of the ordinary fabrics Australian labels like Cooper Street are dominating the fashion industry in the latest trends. All of the fashion obsessed ladies (clearly myself included) are fans of what’s being crafted, cut and produced down under as of late. The skirt featured created by Cooper Street is clearly no exception and is one of my recent closet additions that I cannot seem to get enough of. Fashionable yet functional, funky yet fun, Cooper Street knows just how to make any fashionista feel good in her skin with the help of a great pattern and a pop of color. Words cannot even being to express how much I love their entire new collection so be sure to check it out and get your hands on what you can! Scuba, mesh, color, and prints – need I say more?
