Hello all the way from Texas!!! I have been in Austin since Sunday, and if you’ve been following me on Instagram you can easily assume I’m having the time of my life. You’d be correct. It’s been 100 degrees every day since my arrival, and since I’ve been on the go from morning till evening, clothing that was light weight and comfortable has been the way to go – not to mention loose fitting after all of that BBQ and ice cream. Oops.
I have always been a lover of stripes as the pattern simply never goes out of style. I couldn’t tell you exactly why I’ve got a lot of stripe happening in Austin this week but it certainly became an unintentional trend. Black/White/Stripes go with just about everything and when you’re on the go, it’s the easiest way to jazz up an outfit an trade out different styles without having to over pack (i.e., changing from shorts, to skirts, to pants, etc all in one day, or all in one week).
I am already late for my last Austin lunch (surprise) but I cannot wait to report back on all of my Austin activities next week! Happy Fashion Friday!
