I know. Don’t kill me. Before last week I’D NEVER BEEN TO THE WORLD FAMOUS ROSE BOWL FLEA MARKET. Better late than never I suppose but after finally having made it I can say with complete confidence that it one of the most fun things I’ve done in LA in my 4+ years of living in LA proper. All I could think the whole time I was there, wandering solo with a salted pretzel in hand, was what the hell took me so long? The Rose Bowl Flea literally has everything you could ever want and need in life and besides the positively unreal antique/vintage shopping, the people watching is rather on point as well. I’ve only been once but it’s decided I won’t be missing any more dates in the future.

What: Rose Bowl Flea Market

Where: 1001 Rose Bowl Dr, Pasadena, CA 91103

When: 2nd Sunday of every month, rain or shine

Tip: Don’t shop solo. I can only imagine how entertaining it was for other people to watch me try to carry a 5 ft metal “Los Angeles” sign for 20 minutes through what felt like the entire market looking for an exist. Talk about embarrassing.

Bonus Tip: Read my Local’s Guide to the Rose Bowl Flea Market article up on rent.com’s blog for more info!
