5 SUUUPER Fun Things To Do In LA | April

We may never see those “April showers” that supposedly bring “May flowers” but that shan’t hold us back from celebrating life to the fullest during one of the most exciting and highly anticipated months of the YEAR around these parts. Between beer fests, concerts, some more concerts, Dodgers opening week, Coachella, and 50 million other epic and totally random events, there is a crap ton of fun to be had around town this month. And you need to be a part of it. Spare yourself from a bad case of FOMO (“fear of missing out”, for those of you still catching up with the times) and get with the program people.

Two words: beer + fest. The end.

This year marks the 7th annual LA Beer Fest and will feature 200+ beers, 15 food trucks, DJ’s, bands, and… get ready for it… “surprises”. Admission is $40 per person, all beer included (food is not), and you have the option of choosing to attend the first wave which goes from noon – 3 pm, or the second wave which goes from 5 – 8 pm. Tickets won’t be sold at the door so get them now here!

“It’s the most, wonderful tiiiime, of the year!” – says all Dodgers fans. Dodgers baseball season kicks off April 6th with the Opening Day game festivities starting at 11 am (game at 1pm). If you can’t make it for official day one, come down to Dodger Stadium for game 2 and 3 – both of which are night games (and will have a slightly more affordable price tags on tickets). Follow your gut on this one, but for my fellow hardcore fans I will see YOU on Monday!

It’s exactly what it sounds like. Coachella for the broke. $20 will get you entry into one of LA’s very own, very special, one-of-a-kind festivals featuring a number of local musicians, comedians, variety acts, food trucks, and fun. Lineup/info/tickets here!
